"THE EUROPEAN CLASSROOM- DISCOVERING OUR COUNTRIES TOGETHER”
Our school applied for another Comenius project in February 2012 with the project “The European classroom- discovering our countries together”. In November we found out that our project was accepted and that our partner schools are:
During two years of the project we’ll have to prepare: calendar, atlas – with pictures of famous landmarks in every partner country, people, places, the phrase book – with the most common English words and journal/yearbook – with excerpts of student and teacher experiences.
Next meeting will be hosted by Great Britain on 11th – 16th March 2013.
MEETING IN LYTHAM ST. ANNES, ENGLAND
In Shakespeare's country...
10th March was the first day of the Comenius meeting in England. Teachers and students from Poland, Sweden, Hungary and Germany were hosted by LSA Technology and Performing Arts College in Lytham St. Annes. The representative of our school were teachers: M. P. Romanowska, M. Batyra, D. Piłat and 10 students - P. Burakowski, G. Duda, J. Gołofit, M. Flont, M. Kęcik,Ł. Mędrek, D. Pogoda, M. Rąbel, P. Skrzypek, Ż. Zając
During the fab week we:
- visited- the old town in Copenhagen, the dungeons in Blackpool, the Lake District, Liverpool (Albert Docks , The Beatles Museum) and Houghton Tower;
- tried typical English food: hash browns, fish&chips, black pudding ;
- made new friends from all over Europe;
- practiced our English.
Next meeting is in Stockholm, Sweden in October, 2013.
